Becoming Self-sufficient requires one to have a vision of themselves in the future. Once we see a future for ourselves that is compelling, then we can commit to the hard work it will take to make that future a reality. Students learn to identify the skills, resources and supports their desired futures will require, and assess their current status. The difference between the two will determine the path they need to travel. ICRE-R staff will assist students to determine the classes, experiences, assistance and resources they require to achieve their goals of independence and self-sufficiency.
